Recommendations:

 

2.2       That Committee agrees to a report being brought back to ETS with an update in Autumn 2023, to include the following:

·         How many high-risk food businesses have been inspected over the past 12 months;

·         What the backlog of high and medium inspections is as at the reporting date;

·         How many complaints have been dealt with in the 22/23 financial year and how long it took to deal with them;

·         What the visitor impact might be of improved inspection service levels;

·         What the impact of the new FSA CoP regulations will be;

·         Setting out current risk levels and additional funding required to reduce risk levels.
